Happy last day of 2025! Congratulations, we made it!

Go big or go home! Well, when you are a pilgrim on this earth, resting is not an option - and boy has it been a busy year! Despite injuries and illness, Jiu Jitsu stayed a main focus for the year and we even added a couple more Dunkles to the BJJ roster with two kiddos joining the youth team! Krav Maga is now included on our list of activities and my wife and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary by drilling shoulder-throws…what’s better than that?!? (Although, I am nursing a broken pinky-toe from a mis-guided kick! 😬) We have an ever-classic FJ Cruiser parked in our driveway and I now sport the “Jocko” Timex Ironman on my wrist thanks to Father Christmas!

Two fantastic start-ups were co-founded: one with the aim of supporting and equipping healthy lifestyles and the other to assist those in search of a more suitable career! Both are grass-root movements that we deeply care about! Between weekly blogs, building a database, and gaining support of our career-matching platform, Common Candidate, we have some great contributions coming in the new year! Lots to learn and much to do, because going home isn’t an option!

As to our kiddos, our oldest son is earning his private pilot’s license while his younger brother is learning to drive…your prayers would be very appreciated! 🙏🏻 And to top this off…we are now puppy parents to two Aussie-Doodle brothers! Thankfully, they are the calmest “people” in our house!
